Neo runs on Mac today. Everything else is on the way.

Neo is in private beta on macOS 13 or later, on Apple silicon (M1 or later). An Intel build isn't available yet. iOS, Android, and Windows aren't available yet, and none of them have a committed date — we'll announce timelines only when we're confident we can hit them.

What Neo connects to

What Neo can reach.

Neo only accesses what you explicitly let it access. Each permission or account connects separately, and each can be turned off on its own.

On your Mac

Each of these is a separate permission, off until you turn it on.

  • Microphone

    Talk to Neo without a wake word. While the microphone is on it listens continuously; turn it off and it stops.

  • Screen

    Share one window or one screen. A floating indicator shows what's being shared, with Stop always visible.

  • Camera

    Off unless you open Camera mode. Off again the moment you close it.

  • Files

    Drag in a PDF, a folder, a codebase. Neo works with what you hand it.

  • Media control

    Neo can play, pause and skip in Spotify and Music.

Accounts you can connect

Each connects separately, and each can be disconnected on its own.

  • Google Calendar

    Schedules work blocks into your real free time, and writes them back to your calendar.

  • Gmail

    Reads your inbox to surface what actually needs you.

  • Google Drive

    Reads documents you point it at.

  • YouTube

    Reads retention, traffic sources and net subscriber movement.

  • Google Analytics

    Reads sessions, users and engagement, and whether traffic is growing.

  • Search Console

    Reads the queries you rank for, and whether impressions are moving.

Not connected yet

Neo asks for these scopes but does not yet use them. Listed because a permission screen that mentions them without explanation is worse than saying so.

  • Google Tasks — Would turn work outputs into tasks and close them as work completes.
  • Google Contacts — Would recognise the people in your inbox and calendar as the same people in Neo Mind.
  • Google Sheets — Would read numbers you keep in sheets.
  • Google Docs — Would read documents in full rather than by file listing.
