What this website collects

When you request beta access, we store the name and email you enter, which Mac you selected, what you told us you're building, what stage you're at, and whether you agreed to be contacted. We use it to send your invite and to decide the order of invitations. We don't sell it, and we don't share it with advertisers.

We also record anonymous usage counts — which sections were viewed, which buttons were clicked, and the stage and OS values from the form. These are never linked to your name or email, and the contents of any text field are never recorded. There are no cookies, no third-party analytics, and no tracking identifier stored in your browser.

What the Neo app stores

What Neo remembers is stored on your Mac, encrypted, in a separate space for each account on the device. That includes your projects, decisions, research, files you hand it, and the Neo Mind graph. Deleting an account removes everything it held.

What leaves your Mac

Neo is not an offline product. When you ask a question, Neo sends that question and the context needed to answer it to our hosted API, which passes it to the AI models that generate the response. It sends the relevant context, not your whole workspace. Screen captures, camera frames and microphone audio are sent only while you have that input switched on.

Your controls

Every input is a separate permission you control: microphone, screen, camera and email are each off or on by your choice. While the microphone is on, Neo listens continuously — there is no wake word — and you can switch it off at any time. Anything Neo has saved can be inspected in Neo Mind and deleted individually or all at once.

Removing your information

Email hello@neoassistant.org and we will remove your beta signup and any related records. You don't need to give a reason.

Neo is in beta and this page will change as the product does. The date at the top reflects the most recent revision.
