Plain terms for the Neo private beta. They apply while Neo is in beta and free.
The beta is free
There is no charge for the Neo beta, no payment details are collected, and nothing on this site sells anything. If paid plans arrive later, we'll say so clearly and you won't be charged without agreeing first.
What beta means
Neo is unfinished software. It will have bugs, features will change or be removed, and it may lose data. Please don't rely on Neo as the only copy of anything that matters.
Installing Neo
Neo is distributed outside the Mac App Store, signed with an Apple Developer ID and notarized by Apple. Only install Neo from neoassistant.org or a link we sent you.
Reasonable use
Don't use Neo to break the law, to harm people, or to process other people's personal information you have no right to. Don't attempt to resell or redistribute the beta build.
No warranty
Neo is provided as-is during the beta, without warranties. We're not liable for losses arising from beta use. Nothing here removes rights you have under the law where you live.
Ending access
You can stop using Neo at any time and ask us to delete your information. We can end beta access if these terms are broken.
